The Icterine Greenbul (Phyllastrephus icterinus) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda. The term icterine refers to its yellowish colouration.
Sassi's Greenbul, formerly considered a distinct species, is nowadays usually regarded a subspecies Phyllastrephus icterinus lorenzi of the Icterine Greenbul.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and moist savanna.
